PAG-IGPAW
The project Pag-igpaw is a response to the challenges of
mental and emotional struggles that each one of us might be facing now. A
program designed to help in the awareness of mental health with activities and
services providing support for people to cope with their mental health
struggles.
MERGING THE PAG-IGPAW AND THE CAMPUS MINISTRY PROGRAM
Mental health has two dimensions—absence of
mental illness and presence of a well-adjusted personality that contributes
effectively to the life of the community. Supporting mental well-being and
addressing mental illness intend not just promotion and awareness but actions
that will bring about hope and will move the clientele to view life as a journey
where good and bad experiences can help you to learn, develop and mature. This
is the role of Spirituality, bringing about the integral human formation and
helping to develop the ability to transcend beyond different problems of this
modern world. In a wider sense, the merged program of the Pag-igpaw and the
Campus Ministry promotes not just coping, but transformation, becoming
witnesses and obedient disciples of Christ.
